SwapNShine (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides a platform for users to Buy, Sell, and Rent refurbished outfits including lehengas, gowns, sarees, Indo-western outfits, and more.
These Terms apply to all users (“you”, “customer”, “seller”, “renter”, “buyer”).
By using the platform, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old
You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
All information provided by you is accurate and genuine
You may interact with SwapNShine via:
Website forms
Phone calls
In-store visits
By using these channels, you consent to receive communication related to listings, orders, payments, and support.
When sending your outfit for listing:
The outfit belongs to you legally
The condition is as described
You share clear photos required for listing
You allow SwapNShine to display the outfit images on the platform
You understand that your face will be hidden/blurred for privacy if you wear the outfit in photos
SwapNShine reserves the right to:
Reject listings not meeting quality standards
Edit descriptions for accuracy or clarity
Set rental/sale pricing based on market demand
If your outfit requires minor repair, stitching, cleaning, steaming, or restoration, SwapNShine may:
Repair/refurbish it
Deduct minimal service charges (explained before the process)
Delay listing until quality check is passed
Our goal is to ensure your outfit is in proper condition before sale or rental.
You agree to:
Handle the outfit carefully
Return it in the same condition
Adhere to the rental period
Pay for damage/loss beyond normal wear
Allow cleaning charges if required
SwapNShine handles:
Pickup/drop logistics (where applicable)
Cleaning & steaming after rental
Listing updates
Payment settlement
All refurbished products are:
Pre-owned
Cleaned, restored, and quality-checked
Sold as-is
Buyers are responsible for reviewing images and size details before purchase.
Some items may have minor usage marks, which will be disclosed as much as possible.
If your outfit is rented or sold:
Rental earnings are usually credited as Cash Balance
Sale earnings may be withdrawn or used as Cash Balance (as per policy)
Cash Balance cannot be transferred to other users
Cash Balance validity will be communicated per transaction
Payments may be done through:
UPI
Bank transfer
Cash Balance redemption
SwapNShine reserves the right to verify identity before settling payouts.
Refer to the Cancellation & Refund Policy below (provided separately).
When applicable, we may use:
Courier partners
Local pickup/delivery agents
In-store handover
Delays caused by logistics partners are not in SwapNShine’s control.
If an outfit is damaged or lost during rental:
The renter is responsible
Charges depend on repair/replacement cost
Severe damage may result in full outfit value being charged
SwapNShine’s decision will be final.
You agree NOT to:
Misuse the platform
Upload fake photos
Misrepresent outfit ownership
Engage in fraud, abuse, or illegal activity
Copy or redistribute website content without permission
SwapNShine is not responsible for:
Misuse or alteration of outfit after sale/rental
Loss or delay caused by third-party couriers
Inaccurate information provided by users
Any indirect, incidental or consequential loss
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any.
Your personal information is handled as per our Privacy Policy.
SwapNShine may update these Terms anytime.
Continued use of the website means you accept the updated Terms.

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how all cancellations, returns, and refunds are handled at SwapNShine for buying, selling, and renting outfits.
SwapNShine follows a NO-CANCELLATION policy.
This applies to:
Outfit purchase orders
Rental bookings
Advance bookings for specific dates
Trial/try-on appointments
Refurbished outfit orders
This includes:
Change of mind
Event postponed or cancelled
Wrong size selected by customer
Not liking the outfit after booking
Wanting to switch to another product
Any personal reason
We block the outfit, prepare it, clean it, pack it, and reserve it exclusively for you — therefore no cancellations are permitted.
Since refurbished outfits are pre-owned and specially cleaned/restored:
Wrong product delivered
Major undisclosed defect (verified by our team)
Minor usage marks that naturally occur in pre-loved garments are not eligible for return.
Renters must return the outfit:
On time
In the same condition
Without stains, damage, or alteration
Late return charges or damage charges may apply.
Refunds will NOT be issued for:
Choosing wrong size
Not liking color, design, or fit
Event postponement or cancellation
Change of mind
Failure to pick up the outfit
Providing incorrect measurements
Damage caused by customer
Fitting issues for customised items
Any delay from courier partners (not in our control)
Refunds are only processed when SwapNShine is at fault (extremely rare).
In such cases:
Refunds will be initiated within 5–7 working days.
Refund mode will be UPI / Bank Transfer or Cash Balance, depending on the situation.
If a rented outfit is returned with:
Tears
Stains
Burn marks
Alteration issues
Missing accessories
Irreparable damage
The renter is liable to pay repair charges or full outfit value.
